Rolling Stone – Now Tuned for your Flipboard
Inside Flipboard / February 19, 2011
Today we are very proud to present Rolling Stone, tuned especially for your Flipboard and presented in beautiful full-page format. Rolling Stone was founded in 1960s San Francisco by the legendary Jann Wenner, who continues as editor and publisher today. In the very first edition of the magazine, Wenner wrote that Rolling Stone “is not just about the music, but about the things and attitudes that music embraces.” Over its 44 year history, the magazine has enriched our lives with its in-depth coverage of musicians, politics, and popular culture and has featured some of the most iconic photographs ever taken on its cover.
Add Rolling Stone to your Flipboard today and read Matt Taibbi’s article “Why Isn’t Wall Street in Jail?”, check out the review of Radiohead’s breakthrough new web based album, and flip through the hottest live photos of the week. You can even listen to and vote for the unsigned bands currently competing to win the coveted cover of Rolling Stone.
We hope you enjoy this very special addition to your Flipboard. Stay tuned for more great things from our collaboration with Rolling Stone in the months ahead.
